Endometriosis

Endometriosis is an increasingly more common condition here in the West, the extra tissue can appear in different places , including the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder, bowel etc.

Symptoms can include

Pronounced Period pain.
Heavy periods
Pain during sex
Pelvic Pain

From a Chinese perspective, Endometriosis is largely down to blood stagnation in the Uterus, this can then manifest in clotting, painful periods, dark menstrual blood. I have found over the years that Acupuncture is beneficial here.
